Federal House Inn

The Federal House Inn is a wonderful place to relax while enjoying the many wonderful options that make the Berkshires a little taste of heaven on earth. It was built in 1824 by Thomas O. Hurlbut as his family residence. This gracious brick beauty with gorgeous wood floors and large windows now invites you to admire the scenery of the surrounding lawns. The Federal House Inn became a bed and breakfast in 1950 when Howard Washburn undertook a loving restoration of the property.
